Spring is here… sort of. This can honestly be such a tough time to dress. You never know what to expect. It’s cold. Then, it’s warm. It’s sunny. Then, it’s raining. Even the meteorologists have a hard time predicting what the day will bring this time of year!
With that in mind, I’m taking it back to the basics. For me, black skinnies, a white tee, and a denim jacket are as easy as it gets. Add a simple necklace and sneakers, and cross your fingers that you’re prepared for a possibly sunny/warm/cold/windy/rainy day!
The black skinnies I’m wearing are Lucky Brand, and the cropped white tee is from Everlane. I’m not a brand snob but the quality from Everlane is great, and the concept of their brand is really unique. They are transparent about the cost of production, how the products are made, and what a normal retailer would charge for the quality they provide. (They also make returns & exchanges easy, which is always a plus when you’re ordering online!) The denim jacket is from Forever 21, and I absolutely love the fit. It’s not so baggy that it swallows you, but it’s also not so fitted that it restricts your arm movement. (Is this a pet peeve for anyone else?) I finished off this look with my trusty black high-top Vans for optimum comfort and an evil eye charm necklace from Target to add a little bit of quirkiness.
Here’s hoping we all make it through this crazy weather and find ourselves in sundresses and swimsuits soon!
